Nan Jeon University of Science and Technology enforce Taiwan-Vietnam Cooperation by providing training program in Vietnam

Nan Jeon University and Technology (NJU) promotes Taiwan-Vietnam education corporation and help those Taiwan enterprises to cultivate their employee and local workers for the technical and vocational education.

NJU’s vice-president for administrative affairs; Dr. Shih-Yu Chang visited Taipei Economic & Cultural Office(TECO) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with the company of President Hsih, Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and President Tsai of Technical and Vocational Education Foundation. And Director Liang, Kuang-Chung of TECO in Ho Chi Minh City indicated Vietnam has 10 times of land and four times of population compared to Taiwan and there are about 10 million of population in Ho Chi Minh City which supply sufficient human force along with incentive program offered by the local government to develop rapidly for its economy. Since Taiwan is considered as the main investment country and those Taiwan enterprises also supply quite a lot of job vacancies locally. Now facing more and more competition, Taiwan enterprises in Vietnam have to improve the quality of human resources which is the most urgent issue to be resulted.

NJU’s vice-president Chang stated that Taiwan’s technical and vocational education becomes matured for over 50 years development and Nan Jeon University of Science and Technology would like to cooperate with related vocational training units to fully support Taiwan enterprises by opening local basic human resource training as well as high rank manager training in Taiwan which create the platform for professional employee cultivation needed.
